Gaussian distribution

The Gaussian distribution (also known as the normal distribution) is given by:

$P(x)={\frac {1}{\sigma {\sqrt {2\pi }}}}\exp \left({\frac {-(x-\mu )^{2}}{2\sigma ^{2}}}\right)$
