Yes you can, It means that all the possible (discrete) values of the energy appear in the sampling with almost the same probability:

 P(E_i) \simeq 1/n_{E} , where  n_E is the total number of possible (different) values of the energy. Please, modify the entry if you think that the current writing is not clear enough --Noe 14:19, 9 July 2008 (CEST)
