The Clebsch-Gordan coefficients are defined by

ΨJM=∑M=M1+M2CM1M2JΨM1M2,

where J≡J1+J2 and satisfies (j1j2m1m2|j1j2m)=0 for m1+m2≠m. They are used to integrate products of three spherical harmonics (for example the addition of angular momenta). The Clebsch-Gordan coefficients are sometimes expressed using the related Racah V-coefficients, V(j1j2j;m1m2m) (See also the Racah W-coefficients, sometimes simply called the Racah coefficients).
