The E3B (effective three-body) model[1][2] of water.

Parameters

The E3B potential is given by

U=∑i∑j>iEij+∑i∑j>i∑k>jΔEijk

where

Eij=EijTIP4P+E2e−k2rij

where EijTIP4P represents the TIP4P model of water, E2=2.349×106 kJ/mol, k2=4.872 Å-1, and

ΔEijk=ΔEijkA+ΔEijkB+ΔEijkC

where EA=1745.7 kJ/mol, EB=−4565.0 kJ/mol, and EC=7606.8 kJ/mol.
