Ideal gas: Chemical potential

The chemical potential of an ideal gas is given by

where $\mu _{0}$ is often called a standard chemical potential, which is given by

$\mu _{0}(T)=-k_{B}T\left[\ln V/N+{\frac {3}{2}}\ln \left({\frac {2\pi mk_{B}T}{h^{2}}}\right)\right]$
