Amagat equation of state

The Amagat equation of state or Amagat's law , applies to mixtures where each component is an ideal gas. It states that the volume of the mixture is the sum of the volumes of each component.

For $n$ components,

$V_{total}=\sum _{i=1}^{n}V_{i}=V_{1}+V_{2}+...+V_{n}$
