Associated Legendre functions

The associated Legendre functions Failed to parse (Conversion error. Server ("https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_") reported: "Cannot get mml. Server problem."): {\displaystyle P_{n}^{m}(x)} are polynomials which are most conveniently defined in terms of derivatives of the Legendre polynomials:

$P_{n}^{m}(x)=(1-x^{2})^{m/2}{\frac {d^{m}}{dx^{m}}}P_{n}(x)$

The first associated Legendre polynomials are:

$P_{0}^{0}(x)=1$

$P_{1}^{0}(x)=x$

$P_{1}^{1}(x)=-(1-x^{2})^{1/2}$
