Actually, the picture (nice as it is) is more like a rotated square lattice. It should be scaled Failed to parse (SVG (MathML can be enabled via browser plugin): Invalid response ("Math extension cannot connect to Restbase.") from server "https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_v1/":): {\displaystyle \sqrt{3}} in the vertical direction to make it an equilateral triangular lattice. --Dduque 14:35, 30 October 2007 (CET)
