Attn. Carl McBride; (HALL EOS) I think that the best equation of state for the fcc crystal of hard spheres proposed in Hall's paper is the one given in Eq(13), and not the one currently included in the page of Sklogwiki. I guess you can check this with Vega and Noya that have worked recently with hard spheres

Ok, will do. -- Carl McBride (talk) 11:33, 21 May 2009 (CEST)
You are quite right. On further reading Hall goes on to say that Eq. 12 "...has neither the theoretical basis nor the accuracy of the high density equation...". Eq. 12 has now been replaced by Eq. 13. All the best -- Carl McBride (talk) 10:34, 22 May 2009 (CEST)
