This article is a 'stub' page, it has no, or next to no, content. It is here at the moment to help form part of the structure of SklogWiki. If you add sufficient material to this article then please remove the {{Stub-general}} template from this page.

In a fluid, solid-liquid phase transitions are thought of as being governed mainly by entropy. This is supported by the existence of a fluid-solid transition in the hard-sphere model, and the transition being not being chiefly dependent on the density, not so much on the temperature.
