Joule-Thomson effect

The Joule-Thomson effect is also known as the Joule-Kelvin effect. This effect is present in non ideal gasses, where a change in temperature occurs upon expansion.

Joule-Thomson coefficient

The Joule-Thomson coefficient is given by
