The Debye length for a general electrolyte is given by ^[1]

\kappa ^{-1}={\sqrt {\frac {\varepsilon _{0}\varepsilon _{r}k_{B}T}{2e^{2}N_{A}I}}}

where $I$ is the ionic strength of the electrolyte.
